With Xmas coming up there will be a substantial growth in sexy toy sales. All around this time the martial toy companies will be working on what toy promotions are going ahead and what sensual aids might be the greatest sellers.
Sex Bomb, the super marital aid shop, is confident that vibrators will be the greatest seller this Xmas. The marital aids available this Xmas are of course getting better with more technology. The latest sexy toys are all singing all dancing and cheap making marital aids more appealable to blokes. Men have forever been sensual aid buyers and this year will find them, on average, spending over one million at Christmas.

Some dolls even vibrate. For those who want fantastic pleasure try out Dildos from Sex Bomb.
This year everybody should be dropping hints to their husband to buy them a martial toy or three. The passion and spice you add to your sex life will really make you smile. Sensual aids are fabulous.
If we are to send robotic assistants along with NASA astronauts to explore other planets or if we decided to send artificially intelligent robotic androids along with a set of rovers and robotic systems, then we need to practice using such net centric systems on planet Earth. But where? Perhaps Antarctica might be the place to test out teams over robotic artificially intelligent androids working together in a net centric way with rovers, equipment and other robotic systems. We need to insure that such systems can in fact deliver themselves to the target locations, unload and fully deployed equipment and carry out the mission tasks without failure.
Using a remote section of the Planet, such as Antarctica we can practice until we can make the use AI systems nearly fool proof. It is not that I don’t trust our scientists, robotic researchers and the best and brightest to send our artificially intelligent robotic systems to another planet. Rather in light of the cost in the unknown it makes sense to build systems that can achieve the mission accomplishment with a high enough success ratio to warrant the cost of further budget increases, which will be carried by the taxpayer.
Antarctica is a very cold place and although not the coldest place considering the rest of solar system or the planets, which we will explore it is a rather hostile environment for battery life, solar collection and atmospheric conditions. This makes it perfect as a location to practice and make sure that we are indeed as good as we proclaim we are. I believe we are and I believe it is time to prove. Consider this in 2006.

I don’t want to say people are basically negative but…..if there was a camera and it could photograph the pictures in your mind what would it look like? When I asked myself that question it actually made me laugh quite a bit. I like to think of myself as a determined self starter but to be completely honest there are times when I confront a new project and I am scared to death.
One of the principles of success that I learned a long time ago is that either you define the event or the event defines you. This little definition is quite profound and explains why having beautiful posters with inspirational captions can add meaning and value to a companies culture and bottom line.
Inspiration comes in all colors and styles. But the key point is that if there is something that makes people believe more in their own abilities to succeed I say, that is a good thing. There have been numerous times in my life and career when a simple motivational phrase has worked wonders. How about you?
Here are a few quotes from some motivational posters that have helped me a lot:
“The greater the difficulty, the more glory in surmounting it.”
“Climb as high as you can dream.”
“If you are not living on the edge, you are taking too much room.”
Success in business is due to a number of reasons but FOCUS is definitely one important factor. These messages are often enough to make me believe that I can push through whatever obstacle comes up in my path.
How about you? What legacy will you leave behind for others to emulate?
To Motivate or Not to Motivate…that is the QUESTION.
Over the years I have read the biographies of many successful individuals. In so doing, I have discovered that these super achievers view setbacks as a learning opportunity. As I contemplate this basic reality I have learned a few things myself, among them that I can accomplish much more with genuine enthusiasm and a good game plan than with anything else. Also, that it is not persistence that wins but learning from the disappointments.
My company is filled with beautiful images of motivational posters. Not only because we sell them. It is because they work! Motivational posters help to create an environment that is solution oriented. In our company we value solutions and the posters on our walls help reinforce that culture. Any Tom, Dick or Harry can find a problem. The skill and rewards in life arrive when we deliver the solution.
I find this very uplifting. With a little bit of genuine inspiration it is incredible as to what is possible.
When I am inspired… my dreams… become realities!
Be careful what you agree with!

It’s amazing what a well-written and nicely presented résumé can do for your job search. Before you send yours out, follow this checklist to ensure you are sending out an excellent quality representation of yourself.
1. Grammar, spelling, punctuation - Use the grammar and spell check function, then print it out and read the document word for word. Spell checker doesn’t know that you meant “manager” when you actually typed “manger.”
2. Capitalization - Use a manual such as the Gregg Reference Manual if you do not know capitalization rules.
3. Punctuation - Check for proper use of commas and semi-colons. Again, if you are unsure, refer to the Gregg Reference Manual.
4. Run-on sentences - Check to make sure you do not have run-ons that are hard to read.
5. Consistency - You must be consistent with your number usage (dates, money, numbers), plurals, and abbreviations. For example, don’t list one date as 8/2004 and then list another date as 3/15/2004. Also, be aware of listing software consistently (abbreviation use). MS Word and Microsoft Outlook are both correct, but not consistent.
6. Education section - When you have a degree, list only the year that you obtained your degree. When you list your dates, (i.e.: 9/1998 to 1/2002) many résumé-scanning systems will not recognize that you obtained a degree, only that you attended college for a period of time.
7. Ampersands - Ampersands (&) do not belong on a résumé. There are a few exceptions. One exception is a well-known company name (AT&T). Another exception is well-known industry terms (P&L).
8. Hyperlinks - All e-mail and web addresses that you list need to be deactivated in your résumé. To do this in MS Word, highlight the link, go to the “Insert” drop down menu, scroll down to and click “Hyperlink”, and on the lower left-had side of this screen there should be a little button that says “Remove link”, when you find it, give it a little click and voila! Alternatively, you can highlight the link, right click on it, and scroll down to “remove link” to deactivate the link.

Many professionals and Small Office/Home Office owners don’t understand the distinction between building a business verses creating a job for themselves. While either route can be satisfying and fulfilling, it is important to choose the path you prefer. The “rules” and priorities are very different for each, as are the long-term results down the road. Many professionals believe they are creating one type of enterprise, but are actually creating the other. This can result in frustration and unexpected (and unpleasant) surprises when planning for retirement or other significant events.
While the following distinctions are only tendencies and most business people use a mix of all these traits, this list may help:
1. A business can be sold; your job ends when you retire. In creating a business you are creating an enterprise that has assets and a “life” of it’s own. Other people can buy it, run it, build it up or merge it into their own enterprise. When you create a job for yourself, the enterprise is largely dependent on your being there ever day. You are the primary asset, and when you leave, the business has little inherent value.
2. A Business markets its inventory; a Job markets your skills. A business has an inventory of something…books, tapes, a staff of consultants, something that can be counted and managed. A job markets your skills and your personality. You are the primary inventory or product that is sold.
3. A Business has a relationship with it’s banker; a Job has a relationship with it’s clients. In building a business, you will typically need a line of credit, a merchant credit card account and other services from your bank. You’ll get to know you business banker on a first name basis. Creating a Job requires superb personal relationships with individual customers and clients. You probably know your clients better than your banker.
4. Businesses develop formal accounting standards; Jobs are run out of a checkbook. In developing a business, other people (your banker?) will want to see accounting records and expect them to use standard accounting principles. In building a job, you want your paperwork to be minimal, simple, and invisible so it never interferes with your ability to serve your clients.
5. Businesses develop policies and procedures; Jobs have standards and boundaries. As a business evolves it becomes more complex, requiring policies about personnel, vacations, retirement plans and so forth. A Job is largely about YOU. You have personal standards and boundaries that help you run your life, and your work is a reflection of that.
6. A Business is likely to have a 5 year Plan; A job is more likely to have Goals. A Business Plan is likely to include a formal market analysis, demographics, product develop statements and marketing programs. A Job is more likely to have a goal of increasing income, a full practice, or writing a book in the coming year.
7. A Business is more likely to be incorporated; a Job is more likely to be sole proprietorship. As a legal entity, a business is likely to have filed legal papers, set up a legal headquarters, and have a Board of Directors. Jobs are much more likely to be owned and operated by a single individual or a couple of partners, sometimes very informally.
8. A Business is more likely about strategy; a Job is more likely about passion. People who enjoy creating a business tend to be analytical, calculating and precise in their decision process. People who prefer creating their own job tend to enjoy the freedom, the individuality, and have a love or vision about the work they can do as an individual. The different approaches are often obvious after even a brief conversation with the owners.
9. A Business tends to require more financial investment; A Job may require little cash, but may require that you invest your whole heart. Creating an enterprise that will continue as a profitable business typically requires some initial cash investment. Creating a job may only require a phone number, a checking account and perhaps a fax machine.
10. Businesses have vacation pay, Jobs don’t. This is the “acid test” in many cases. Businesses establish policies and have financial reserves for health insurance, vacations and retirement. Most small business operations that are actually more like Jobs have no formal provision for these things. If the owner goes on vacation, the income stops. Health insurance and retirement are the personal responsibility of the owner/operator.
Knowing where you come out on these distinctions, and where you would like to be, can clarify many other business decisions. Do you want to hire employees? Should you incorporate? Can the business legally buy your car for you? These decisions can often be made more easily once you understand the distinctions between building a business verse creating a job you love.

The trucking industry is in some ways the end all of the logistics industry, the amounts of experience and knowledge required is much more than the other areas of logistics such as courier services, messenger services document retrieval and so on. The trucking industry relies on some basic factors. These are LTL or less than truckload, short haul and long haul services. Each of these services may have month of time to line up and prepare for to even minutes within the same day.
Less than truckload is a service which can be complicated, the service involves taking a full truck and dividing it with separate loads from individual companies until the truckload is full of freight, this can be only two companies splitting the truckload with on company having the freight dropped off a Midwest destination and the second company then having the freight delivered to the West coast. LTL may have many different companies loading a few pallets each and having the driver set a route on a schedule to drop of each few pallets to multiple destinations all around the nation and even beyond American borders.
Short haul services are self explanatory but the definition can be described as This service usually includes the use of a Flatbed, Step Deck or Van vehicle for transport of freight. The distance for the service is a small distance usually across town or within a 600-mile radius from the original pick up of the freight. Short haul is more or less a local service provided by local trucking and freight companies.
Long haul trucking is just the opposite of the short haul, this involves loading a full truckload of freight and hauling to a destination longer then 600 miles and often from port to port across the nation and other countries as well. Most trucking companies have scheduled routes set for their long haul drivers, meaning they know when freight is set to arrive and have plenty of time to figure out the logistics and create a plan which can work like clock work, however many companies have last minute freight emergencies which require and on demand service, especially when a communication error occurs or a company cancels last minute from other circumstances out of their control.
The trucking freight broker business is on that can be extremely challenging on every level. The industry requires proper licenses, insurance’s and permits for the ability to haul any freight to any destination. The business is highly profitable and the back bone of American trade and industry, therefore being highly rewarding and a sense of accomplishment is worn like a badge of honor, especially with such shipments as military freight, medicines, food to starving people and so on. The trucking industry supplies everything to everywhere giving the world everything required for survival on all levels.
A freight broker works with the manufacturers of goods, wholesalers and distributors to see to the safe and effective and timely transportation of huge loads of goods to be ultimately sold on the market. These professionals also work on the modalities of sending the material from one location to another, and the amount earned as a part of the profit is termed as freight brokerage. The business of freight brokers has been in the trucking business as early as the early 20th century.
A freight broker is a transportation intermediary, neither the shipper nor an asset owner, who plays a vital role in moving goods. These professionals leverage their knowledge, investment and resources to help the shipping and the carrier companies.
Licensed freight brokers can be companies or individuals who match up carriers with shippers for a fee. According to research, there are 4,000 licensed transportation brokers in United States, and only 50 percent of them work on a full-time basis. Brokers are people who provide valuable services to both motor carriers and shippers. They help the carriers load goods in a truck and earn commission for their effort. Some of the companies use brokers as their traffic department and solely depend on them for coordinating their shipping needs.
Although freight brokers do not require any formal training, there are some institutes that provide knowledge on the subject. One such institute, like a freight broker training school, not only gives insight about the business but also provides certificates to students who successfully finish the course.

September the third is the date on which the immediate future of the divided island of Cyprus will be decided. Since the election this February of Dimitris Christofias as the Greek Cypriot leader there has been a huge growth in the belief that a feasible plan for reunification can be worked out between the Turkish and Greek sides. Christiofias, who took over from the five year incumbent Tassos Papadopoulos, has stated that his government’s primary aim is the reunification of the island. His ascension to power has kick started the discourse on reunification, and he and his fellow political left winger, the Turkish Cypriot Talat, have already agreed to cooperate on issues such as crime prevention, environmental policy and cultural heritage. That kind of cross-border cooperation would not have happened under Papadopoulos, who publicly decried attempts at reunification and who, it is argued, massively influenced the failure, by referendum, of the Annan plan four years ago. Another key factor that is leading to speculation that this round of talks, due to start officially on September 3 of this year, will bring results is that Turkey itself is now in a position where it must show tangible support for a revived diplomatic attempt at reunification. Cyprus, which is already a member of the EU, has warned Turkey, which is currently attempting to join the EU, that Cypriot support will be predicated on this cooperation. Markos Kyprianou, the Greek Cypriot Foreign Minister, said earlier this week that, “Our goodwill to keep Turkey’s EU path open is not without limit.”He went on to add that, “If we see that Turkey is not being positive or constructive in its stance at a time when a new phase in finding a Cyprus solution has begun then we should reconsider our general policy towards Turkey’s EU accession.”Kyprianou was making it very clear that Turkey relies on Cyprus’s support in order to join the EU. Whilst his words could me construed as a thinly veiled threat, what they do highlight is the fact that the current round of talks on reunification are under the scrutiny of an international community that has effectively moved away from the political arena of the Cyprus Problem for the last four years - since the failure of the Annan plan. Turkey’s aspiration to join the EU gives some leeway to political pressure such as this from Kyprianou, whilst Christiofias’s announced desire for reunification, not to mention the shared ideological field as his Turkish counterpart, mean that the September 3 round of direct negotiations definitely hold the most graspable chance for reunification yet. The impact this has for foreign property investment in North Cyprus is massive, as house prices are expected to sky rocket up to the same height as those in the rest of the island as soon as reunification occurs.
Recently, I stumbled upon a simple way to hit the target on my Internet marketing strategy for driving potential web traffic to my site. For me, this was an incredible “Ah Ha,” because I am not a “techie” and my sales strengths are building relationships and understanding numbers. The Internet by its very nature provides an immediate obstacle to building relationships, but offers opportunities to gather and analyze numbers. And this is where many small businesses and even some larger businesses fail to capitalize upon this potential business strategy in their Internet marketing efforts.
Every day I receive at least one if not several articles about article submission as a marketing strategy to increase web site traffic. And yet, not one of these articles discusses if these articles are meeting the needs of potential readers. One senses that if you write enough articles or white papers (quantity), you will increase your business (quality). This reminds me of the old saying “Build It and They Will Come.”
So how do you truly know what articles are being read when you use a paid article distribution service and more specifically what topics are generating the greatest interest? Even though my practice focuses on education and training through organizational and leadership development, I recently authored an article “How to Gain Web Traffic Through 9 Simple Tips.” This article was my sharing of my recent experiences through the advice of two marketing experts (www.hodgecomunications and www.leaders-perspective) as I actively worked one goal within my strategic plan to increase traffic to my web site.
This article was first posted on 08/27/05 at www.ezinearticles.com and then submitted to a paid article distribution service www.articlemarketer.com. I was quite surprised when reading the “time viewed” through my free membership and monitoring page at Ezine Articles. Using my most frequently viewed article “Work Ethics - A Paradigm Shift” posted on 04/20/05, I then checked the average daily views through an excel spreadsheet that I had created for all submitted articles. What I discovered to my amazement was that the web traffic article was receiving almost 15 views a day while the other article received around 3 views a day. To ensure that this wasn’t an anomaly, I reviewed other daily view rates and learned that no other article was even close.
Wow! With 38 articles in the distribution highway, one article was out performing the other 37 by almost five to one. Remember the Parento Principle: 20% of your efforts account for 80% of your results. For someone who continually advocates if you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it, I then realized that this adage also applies to writing articles as well as to watching the statistics from my web site. Since this article was distributed, my daily web visits have increased 50% in just 6 days.
Is this article solely responsible for this increase? Absolutely, not. However, given the measurable increase in traffic, the number side of my brain began to click in. I began to wonder if I concentrated my activity during the next month on articles focusing on Internet marketing and web traffic would I continue to secure a daily view rate of 15 or greater for those submissions? During the next 30 days, I hope to have a measurable answer to that question and please feel free to contact me if you wish to know the answer as well.
If you also want to hit the target on your Internet marketing activities or as some might say, work smarter not harder, can you answer these 5 simple questions:
(1) What are your average daily view rates for your articles?
(2) Are your articles within a specific topic area or a variety of topics?
(3) Have you avoided topics that fail to demonstrate your expertise?
(4) What is your strategy for tracking your article submissions against your daily web traffic?
(5) Do you know for your efforts which specific topic generates the most daily views?
With the Internet being a major source of information, writing articles is a definite strategy to drive traffic to your web site. However, given the amount of time it takes to write a quality article, it does appear to make sense to leverage that time to secure the greatest results possible.
