Thanksgiving dinner is approaching. Perhaps you’ve done this many times before or it’s your very first time serving a
Thankgsiving dinner menu. Either way, it never hurts to explore new tips and ideas to help make things easy so here is a quick list of great tips on preparing Thanksgiving dinner.
- If your turkey is frozen, defrost it at least 2 days in advance. But for the best results, purchase a fresh turkey.
- Do some of the work such as baking dessert in advance. You’ll want to spend the holiday with your company and not in the kitchen.
- Prepare the stuffing and cranberry sauce a few days in advance, if you’re using a homemade recipe. You can reheat these the day of the dinner and no one will know the difference.
- Cook mashed potatoes the day of. This dish is best served fresh and with the right combination of butter and heavy cream as well as salt and pepper.
- Baste the turkey every 15 minutes while it is cooking. Cook it at 350 degrees F.
- Purchase a thermometer for the turkey so you know when it’s done.
- Don’t reheat the turkey. If it has cooled down at all, just serve with hot gravy.

You are driving to work just like its any regular day, the sun is out, the birds are chirping, and the traffic is light. When the traffic is light you think you must be lucky, because usually at this time of day, traffic is really bad. Then all of a sudden up ahead, you start to see the flashing of brake lights. What is going on? Traffic must be getting bad, or maybe there is an accident. Who knows? Anyway, the traffic starts to slow and people are stomping on their brakes. Now stomping on brakes causes a chain reaction. For miles and miles, the traffics are slowing down. Why is this? You just can’t figure it out. You hope that there is an accident or something. Not that you want anyone to get in an accident, but you want an explanation for what is going on. You drive for miles and nothing, just stop and go traffic. Then, up ahead in the distance, you see it. On the side of the road, hiding behind a group of trees, is a traffic cop. He is just sitting there with his radar out. Now, I know that he is just doing his job, but I think that there is a more honest way of catching speeder, than sit there on the side of the road and check the speed of every driver. He is causing traffic problems and congestion for miles, all I hopes of catching just one person who is late for work. I think that there should be a law against this type of speeding trap during times of heavy traffic. All it does is freak people out and make them nervous. When you get nervous you drive bad. And bad driving causes accidents. Cops are one of the main problems of traffic jams.

A stutter normally starts for people in childhood and is often
referred to as a childhood stutter. This is often very worrying
for parents and the child and it is difficult to know where to

There are many types of stutter. Family and friends may not even
be aware that a person they know has a stutter. That is because
the person is able to hide the stutter, by using word avoidance

A stutter would normally occur more when a person is:
under pressure when tired meeting new people speaking in an
uncomfortable situation asking questions, for example asking for
directions introducing people

People who have a stutter have different options when seeking
therapy. They can go to a speech therapist or speech
pathologist. Alternatively they can attend a speech course.
